Chief of Hematopathology Opportunity-Southern California
Our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized Department of Pathology is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Hematopathologist at the level of Professor for the position of Chief of the Division of Hematopathology. Seeking Research and Mission Minded Physicians as every discovery we make and every new treatment we create, gives people the chance to live longer, better, and more fully.
20% clinical responsibilities, 40% academic/research, 40% Administrative
This position is a full-time faculty position on the clinical track that includes clinical service, research, and training and education of fellows along with administrative responsibilities as leader of the Division.
A minimum of 10 years academic experience with demonstrated research productivity and 3 years of leadership/administrative experience are required.
Current Fellowship program includes 4 Fellows.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and scholarly accomplishments.
Candidates must be an MD/DO or equivalent, hold or be eligible to obtain a California medical license, and Board Certified in Hematopathology.
Subspecialty expertise in leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma pathology and molecular pathology of hematopoietic malignancies is preferred.
