Miami Division Chief of Gynecological Oncology Opportunity
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a physician who is Board-Certified in Gynecologic Oncology to serve as Division Chief.
Primary clinical responsibilities of the Division Chief include participation in inpatient and outpatient clinical practice at the UMMSOM and Jackson Health System sites. This distribution of effort may change based on your interests, department needs, and your success in obtaining extramural grant funding.
Primary administrative responsibilities of the GYN/ONC Division Chief:
Active participation in the clinical practice of Gynecologic Oncology, including, but not limited to the University of Miami clinical practice sites and hospitals, Jackson Health System sites, the scope of which will be determined by the Department Chair.
Development of and participation in clinical research in Gynecologic Oncology.
Teaching of residents, medical and nursing students
Serve as Division Chief
Secondary duties will include participation in appropriate departmental committees and administrative matters.

10 years of experience as an academic Gynecological Oncologist encompassing entire spectrum of clinical practice, education - clinical instruction/teaching, and research.
Currently at a full Professor level or higher
5 years of progressive supervisory experience consisting of oversight of other providers, program development and administration, fiscal oversight and management, development of peer or junior faculty research endeavors, and/or other leadership development and growth accomplishments.
