Duke Health and the Duke Cancer Network are recruiting additional General Hematology-Oncology physicians for two of its affiliated community cancer centers. Hired physicians will see patients four days/week with one day/week dedicated to administrative/academic activities such as community-based clinical research. Inpatient call is consultative only, with no rounding responsibilities.
Duke Cancer Network (DCN) has delivered world-class cancer care to their community partners for many years, translating clinical research findings into the most advanced therapies for their patients. DCN is comprised of five Durham-based physicians, seven community-based physicians, and six APP’s. In conjunction with clinical care and education, DCN provides research, regulatory and business operations support.
Scotland Cancer Treatment Center, located in Laurinburg, NC offers both Duke-affiliated medical and radiation oncology, a breast cancer multidisciplinary clinic, clinical trials, new radiation therapy linear accelerator and simulator, a spacious chemotherapy suite, and full-time social worker available for their patients.
