MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible, Fellowship trained Gastroenterology physician to join our medical staff and a physician owned ambulatory surgery center located in Mason City, Iowa.
This private practice is recruiting an additional Gastroenterology physician to accommodate a growing practice. This opportunity offers an investment option at the ambulatory surgery center that recently underwent a $1.2 million Gastroenterology specific expansion in a referral area of 14 counties serving a population of over 250,000 with no local competition. An early partnership opportunity is offered with a low buy in cost of approximately $10,000 at a private practice with low overhead.
The surgical center is attached to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center and has IR, Radiofrequency Ablation, ERCP, Thoracic Surgery, a Bariatric Center of Excellence, Endoscopic US, Robotics (minimally invasive) and Cytopathology on site within the ambulatory surgery center. Patients benefit from easier procedures, including colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound and capsule endoscopy, faster recoveries and better outcomes.
The center currently utilizes Cerner Powerchart as the EMR system and SurgiNet as the reporting software.
