Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity to join a couple of well-respected and established Gastroenterologists in a system-employed, general GI practice in Fort Worth, TX at Texas Health Harris Methodist Fort Worth. Texas Health Digestive Care is currently supported by four well-qualified mid-level providers and looking to add another physician due to the extreme growth of the practice. This is a general Gastroenterology job with both inpatient and outpatient cases providing services for patients in our well-equipped flagship facility in downtown Fort Worth.

Requirements:

MD or DO candidates

Active Texas license preferred

Motility experience required

Gastroenterology fellowship from an accredited program

Board-certified or board eligible candidates required

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth is one of our flagship facilities serving a population of over 2.5 million. Located in the Medical District, Texas Health Fort Worth is a regional referral center for 26 counties, with transfers and referrals from as far away as El Paso, Texas, and parts of Oklahoma. It has a census of about 600 patients per day and 27 ORs. This facility is presently a Level II Trauma Center but is working toward a Level I designation. Texas Health Fort Worth has a robust emergency department with more than 150,000 visits and an active call schedule.
