Doctor's Medical Center of Modesto, owned and operated by Tenet Healthcare, is actively seeking a Full-time CRNA.
Will provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with individual needs, physician orders, hospital policy and standard of nursing practice. The CRNA will fulfill responsibilities according to educational preparation, clinical expertise, and delineation of privileges. Responsibilities include the administration of anesthetics and adjunctive medications to render patients insensible to pain; monitoring patient's condition while under anesthesia; initiation of corrective actions using professional judgment; and functioning as a team member to perform preoperative reassessment, preoperative assessment, anesthetic management and post-anesthesia care of the patient. Responsibilities also include leadership and educational functions.
Education: Graduate from a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs as evidenced by verification of initial certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Valid California State Registered Nurse License.
License/Certification: California RN license as a Nurse Anesthetist; ACLS; PALS; NBCRNA. EKG (Advanced 12 Lead for Medial Professionals) within six months of hire.
