The Cook is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, using Woodcrest established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Lead Cook and/or Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Under limited supervision, prepares and serves meals maintaining high standards of sanitation, housekeeping, and safety. Operates and inspects food service equipment on a daily basis. Is responsible for all related work areas within the realm of the Food and Nutritional Services Department.
PRN-8 hours a month required
Every other weekend and holiday required
High School Graduate or the equivalent required (unless you are an HS Student)
Works around areas and equipment of abnormal temperatures
Requires full range of body motion including but not limited to, standing, walking, sitting, etc.
