Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Groups and Nazareth Hospital have an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a well-established Cardiology team with strong support staff located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The cardiac services at Nazareth Hospital provide a full range of care from preventative screening, diagnostics and imaging, to state of the art treatment options (including interventional cardiology, CT surgery, electrophysiology).
The team provides inpatient consults & office-based clinical care, echo, TEE, nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging, CPET, coordinated programs with exceptional regional tertiary care centers, coordinated Cardiogenic Shock initiative; includes Impella heart pump, and 24-hour STEMI programs service all hospitalists.
Qualified candidates should be Nuclear and Echocardiography Board Certified or Board Eligible. Cardiac CT certification is a plus but not required. Nazareth is open to starting a CT program for the right candidate.
Nazareth is a Community Teaching Hospital and there would be an opportunity for faculty appointment at Thomas Jefferson University, Drexel University College of Medicine and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Nazareth Hospital, established in 1940 by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, serves Northeast Philadelphia with 205 acute beds and 28 skilled nursing beds. The hospital had 8,136 admissions, 51,177 visits to our Emergency Department, and 135,107 outpatient visits in 2015.
An affiliate of St. Mary Heart and Vascular Care, Nazareth is nationally accredited by Corazon, Inc. to provide life-saving emergency angioplasty for patients suffering heart attacks and has been accredited as a Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society for Cardiovascular Patient Care.
