Optum is looking for a full-time Cardiologist to join our team in the San Gabriel Valley.
Just a 30 minute drive from downtown Los Angeles, Covina and its surrounding areas have much to offer in terms of education, recreational activities, and culinary diversity, without the typical hustle & bustle of a large metropolitan city. Choose to live in Arcadia, for example, and you'll find yourself both at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains and inside the perimeter of a nationally renowned school district!

Location: Covina, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Support: 2 PAs and 2 Ultrasound Technicians
Hospital coverage: Emanate hospitals nearby and San Dimas Community Hospital
Clinic details: multi-specialty, 103 exam rooms, Urgent Care and Pharmacy on-site
Duties: managing of underlying heart diseases, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, hypertension, exercise intolerance, etc.
Proficient in reading ultrasounds, performing EKGs, treadmills, dobutamine, and nuclear stress testing.
Schedule to include clinic, procedures, and hospital coverage, but is primarily outpatient.
Unrestricted CA Medical License
Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
