Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Program is seeking a BE/BC Pulmonologist to enhance the staff of a well-respected academic practice, within our Medical Group in New York City. Interest/expertise in pulmonary hypertension, although not essential, is desirable. This outpatient position is located in NY, NY, with both in -patient consults and critical care (closed medical ICU) provided at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Programs started in the 1980s and has grown to 14 dedicated physicians at LHH. Our programs are nationally and internationally recognized for expertise in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine, and we boast innovative clinical research. We have specialized centers for interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, advanced lung disease, bronchiectasis, asthma and sleep medicine. A comprehensive, multicenter lung cancer screening program is headed system wide by Lenox Hill physicians. LHH has nine pulmonary and critical care fellows.
Our pulmonary medicine community-based outpatient services span the full range of lung diseases, whether common or rare, simple or complex. We have subspecialty programs in pulmonary hypertension, asthma, critical care, cystic fibrosis, non-CF bronchiectasis, non-tuberculous mycobacterial diseases, interventional pulmonary medicine, pulmonary rehabilitation and sleep medicine.
This New York City practice is busy, with two locations in the UES.
All candidates will receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and eligibility for tuition reimbursement. Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners, the fifth largest medical group in the country. Academic Appointment to Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience.
