Collaborative, Learner-focused Curriculum
Our ACGME and PCMH accredited program trains outstanding family medicine physicians to meet the needs of patients today and in the future. We place a strong emphasis on comprehensive outpatient care that includes scheduled patient time in the office every day.
The Dublin Methodist Family Medicine Residency program allows for daily time in the office for every PGY level. This is to immerse family medicine residents in outpatient-based experiences, even during some rotations that are traditionally and heavily inpatient based, such as surgery and cardiology. Our didactics also broaden and enhance traditionally based training. We employ an advanced, integrated discussion-based format that engages residents with faculty and specialists in a more dynamic, personalized didactic atmosphere. Residents can build flexibility into their studies using six elective rotations. Our program is designed to ensure residents experience success and well-being during their years of training.
